Viatek is a brand owned by Edilpavimentazioni Srl, a Trentino-based road construction company founded in 1985. The Viatek brand was created in 2008 with the aim of producing cold mixes through the reuse of milled material. The project is developed with the idea of researching and proposing a wide range of road maintenance products.

Thanks to continuous research, in 2017, Viatest RPS, a road condition monitoring vehicle, was designed and developed to acquire geometrical data on and characteristics of the road surface in an automated manner.

Today, the Viatek brand boasts a wide range of cold mixes, including our flagship product, Pro Patch cold mix.

To gain a deeper understanding of how road damage occurs and how it can be repaired, Viatek has created an in-house research group and developed a close partnership with an Israeli company and the Universities of Trento, Perugia and Bologna. Our laboratory technicians check the quality and consistency of the incoming raw materials and the outgoing finished products in our in-house laboratory.

In the laboratory, mixing tests, extraction of bitumen, control of grading curves by sieving, Marshall tests, indirect tensile tests, and other tests on aggregates and bitumen can be carried out.

Over the years, Edilpavimentazioni has placed great emphasis on scientific research and will continue to do so by improving the technologies at its disposal. Thanks to the enthusiasm of its staff and the support of the above-mentioned universities, its range of products will cover more and more aspects of road maintenance.
